Jim Lawson graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Paier College of Art in New Haven, CT. He has worked as a writer/artist on the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES comic books, and as a designer of several figures and vehicles for the TURTLES toy line. Jim lives in western Massachusetts with his wife and three sons. His favorite activities include motorcycling and jetskiing.

Peter Laird has been a professional illustrator since 1976, a career he began shortly after graduating with a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. In 1983 he co-created, with Kevin Eastman, the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. Since then, his life has been mostly TURTLES-related. But PLANET RACERS is the most fun he's had with comics in a long time.
